Two of my colleagues, Allison Harthcock and Ann Savage, and I presented papers at the IAMCR Conference in Durban, South Africa, in July. My paper looked at discussions of polygamy in the Afrikaans daily, Die Burger. I was also elected co-chair of the Gender and Communication Section. Looking forward to the 2013 conference in Dublin!
