ICA International Encyclopedia of Journalism Studies

I am currently serving as an associate editor for the International Communication Association's International Encyclopedia of Journalism Studies, which will be published by Wiley in 2018. The editors are Tim Vos and Folker Hanusch, with Dimitra Dimitrakopoulou and Annika Sehl as the other two associate editors. Its been an interesting process, with almost 300 headwords to be assigned to experts in the field. I assigned about 50 of these words, and entries will be coming in from January to March of 2018. I will also be writing a 4,000-word entry on "Gender Issues in News Coverage."
