Are More Journalism Students Female?

I often see people claiming that we have more female journalism students than male journalism students. For example, see this quote from an article titled "Women dominate journalism schools, but newsrooms are still a different story." 

"Each year, women comprise more than two-thirds of graduates with degrees in journalism or mass communications, and yet the media industry is just one-third women, a number that only decreases for women of color, reports show."

I am wondering whether this includes students majoring in public relations and advertising. Are more journalism students actually female?
